Havoc Response Training Group (HRT) was born from a lifetime of training, experience, and a network of the right people coming together with one mission: to help others respond effectively when life takes a bad turn. We believe that preparedness isn’t just about gear or tactics—it’s about giving people the confidence to face uncertainty without fear.

The reality is that the world we live in is uncertain. Since the year 2000, the world has known only one crisis after another: COVID, mass shootings, devistating hurricanes and earthquakes, the 2008 mortgage crisis, riots, wars, and much more. Individuals have faced their own crises at home and on the job with the rise of deadly drugs like fentanol and methanphetamine that create desperation and desperate circumstances. The unknown is everywhere, but we believe that with our experience and our methods, we at HRT can make a positive impact right here, right now.

At HRT, our instructors and staff are committed to being Trustworthy, Helpful, Courteous, and Kind. We put people before egos and challenge old ways of doing things when it means creating more effective, life-extending outcomes. Whether you’re an individual, a family, a group of friends, or a business, our training is tailored to your needs. From firearms instruction and Family Emergency Response Training to home security planning, bug-out readiness, and even hydroponic food solutions, we keep every program grounded in real-world practicality.

Founded by Chris Edmonds, a lifelong outdoorsman, inventor, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of martial arts experience and 15 years as a self-defense instructor, HRT combines deep expertise with a welcoming approach. Chris has taught hundreds of students—from teenagers to seasoned adults—and brings certified training in firearms, first aid, and emergency response to every class.

Our goal is simple: to cut fear off at the knees. Fear fuels division, hate, and paralysis. By equipping people with the skills and mindset to handle crisis moments, we reduce anxiety and empower communities.

As we expand, HRT aims to grow into a nationally recognized training and security brand, with franchises across the U.S. and eventually, private security services. We have nothing to fear but fear itself—and at HRT, we make sure you don’t have to fear the unknown.
